apple & cinnamon donuts

These apple & cinnamon donuts truly are a 10/10!!! They’re so fluffy and taste absolutely incredible 😍

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or liquid sweetener of choice
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

cinnamon sugar

  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • melted coconut oil or butter to lightly brush

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 180ºc (fan forced)
  • In a bowl combine egg, applesauce, maple syrup, coconut oil, almond milk and mix until combined.
  • Add in flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and mix until combined. Transfer the mixture into a silicone donut pan and bake for 18 minutes or until cooked.

Optional

  • Combine sugar and cinnamon. Once donuts are cooked, let cool slightly then lightly brush with coconut oil or butter. Coat donuts in the cinnamon sugar mix.
  • Store in a air tight container for 3-4 days. I recommend heating them slightly before eating!
