Biscoff French toast sticks

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 4 tbsp biscoff spread
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2-3 tbsp cinnamon sugar
  • Extra biscoff spread to serve optional

Instructions

  • Cut the crusts off each slice of bread. Spread a good layer of biscoff onto 4 slices, place the other slices on top and cut in half.
  • In a bowl mix together egg, maple syrup, almond milk and cinnamon.
  • Heat a non stick pan to medium, coat the bread in the egg mixture and add to the pan.
  • Cook for about 3 minutes per side or until golden.
  • Once cooked, coat in cinnamon sugar.
  • Add to a plate and serve with melted biscoff spread.
