Blueberry crumble

This simple and easy blueberry crumble is the perfect dessert for any occasion, especially great for those colder winter evenings!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond meal
  • 1 cup slice almonds
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil melted
  • 1-2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp shredded coconut

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180°c (fan forced)
  • Add your blueberries to a pie dish In a bowl add the oats, almond meal, sliced almonds, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, cinnamon, salt, vanilla extract and mix until all combined. 
  • Place crumble mixture on top of blueberries and gently press down using the back of a spoon. Sprinkle on the shredded coconut.
  •  Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden. 
    Serve with ice cream and enjoy!
