Chocolate Chia Pudding

Any breakfast involving chocolate is a winner in my eyes! This chocolate chia pudding is the ultimate easy & delicious breakfast.

Ingredients

Chia pudding

  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or liquid sweetener of choice
  • 3/4 cup almond milk or milk of choice

Topping

  • 2 tbsp (heaped) greek yoghurt
  • 2 tsp cacao powder
  • 1-2 tbsp maple syrup or sweetener of choice - can be granulated or liquid

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients for the chia pudding in a jar and leave in the fridge overnight (or for a few hours). Combine the yoghurt, cacao powder and sweetener and add on top of the chia pudding the next morning. 
    Enjoy!

Notes

optional: dust with some extra cacao powder
I also like eating this with fresh fruit such as banana or strawberries!
