chocolate protein balls

These chocolate protein balls are the perfect no bake snack to prepare for throughout the week!

Equipment

  • 1 food processor or blender

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pitted dates
  • boiling water enough to fully submerge dates
  • 1 1/2 cups oats
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 45g chocolate protein powder
  • 2 heaped tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut

Instructions

  • In a bowl add dates, cover with boiling water and leave to soak for 20 minutes. 
  • To a blender or food processor add oats, cacao powder, chocolate protein powder, soaked dates, some of the water used to soak dates and peanut butter. Blend until all combined.
  • Use damp hands to roll a heaped tbsp amount of the mixture into balls. Roll in desiccated coconut and store in the fridge - they last about a week!
