Crunch caramelised croissant

This crunchy caramelised croissant recipe is the perfect use for any stale croissants you might have sitting in your cupboard!

Ingredients

  • 1 croissant
  • 1/2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tbsp brown sugar

Toppings

  • greek yoghurt
  • berries
  • coconut
  • maple syrup

Instructions

  • Using a rolling pin, roll out the croissant until it is as flat as possible. 
  • Heat a pan to medium and add the butter. Once the butter has melted, add in the croissant. Drizzle the maple syrup and brown sugar on top and let cook for about 3 minutes per side or until golden. 
  • Add to a plate and allow it cool for 5 minutes to harden. Top with greek yoghurt, berries, coconut and maple syrup (or toppings of choice)
