Healthier French Toast

This easy and tasty healthier French toast recipe is the perfect thing to make for breakfast or brunch!

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of wholemeal bread
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or sweetener of choice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp almond milk or milk of choice

Toppings

  • greek yoghurt
  • fresh of frozen berries (if using frozen defrost before eating)
  • maple syrup

Instructions

  • In a bowl mix together egg, maple syrup, cinnamon and almond milk. Coat the bread and add to a pan. Cook each side medium heat until golden.
  • Add to a plate and top with Greek yoghurt, berries and maple syrup, or toppings of choice.
  • Enjoy!
