Nutella Banana bread

This soft and fluffy Nutella Banana bread puts a delicious hazelnut spin on the classic banana bread loaf. It is so chocolatey and perfect for dessert!

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas mashed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup honey or liquid sweetener of choice
  • 1/2 cup almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1/2 cup nutella I used homemade nutella - linked above
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cacao powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180°c (fan forced) and line a loaf tin. 
  • Mash the bananas and add to a bowl with eggs, honey, almond milk, homemade nutella and mix until combined. 
  • Mix in flour, cacao powder, baking powder and baking soda. Fold in dark chocolate chips and transfer mixture into the baking tray. 
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes or until cooked. 
    Let cool, slice up and enjoy! 

Notes

store in the fridge - it lasts about 3-4 days!
I recommend heating it up in the microwave for a few seconds before eating :)
