Peanut butter and banana brownies

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup or liquid sweetener of choice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1 cup oat flour To make oat flour just blend your oats until they form a flour
  • 1/3 cup cacao powder sifted
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips or chocolate of choice

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 180°c and line an 8 x 8 square pan
  • In a bowl mash up your bananas. Add in the egg, maple syrup, peanut butter, vanilla extract and mix.
  • Mix in the oat flour, baking powder and sift in the cacao powder. Fold through the dark chocolate chips.
  • Add the batter into your lined baking dish and bake for 18-20 minutes or until cooked.
  • Let cool, slice up into 9 pieces and enjoy

Notes

Store them in the fridge, they last about 4 days.
I recommend warming them up in the microwave before eating!
