These No Bake Weetbix Peanut Butter Cups are such a tasty dessert and use one of my favourite breakfast cereals!! I’m sure a lot of you would have had weetbix for breakfast but did you know you can also use them to make incredible desserts??!! There’s honestly nothing Weetbix can’t do!!!
Growing up Weetbix were my favourite breakfast cereal! It wasn’t until I started experimenting with cooking I realised just how versatile they are. These Weetbix Peanut Butter Cups are ideal for anyone looking for a quick and tasty dessert. They are so easy to prepare, no bake and only require pantry staples. This recipe can also easily be tweaked to suit your dietary needs!
Ingredients needed:
- Weetbix
- Honey
- Natural peanut butter
- Dark chocolate
- Flaky sea salt
How to make Weetbix Peanut Butter Cups
- To a bowl add the Weetbix and crush them up. Add in the sweetener, peanut butter and mix until combine d.
- Divide the mixture across 6 silicone moulds. Melt the chocolate and spread on top.
- Sprinkle on some flaky sea salt and leave in the freezer for 1 hour to set.
- Once set they are ready to enjoy! - store in the fridge.
Recipe substitutions/alterations
- You can use any natural nut butter of your choice.
- You can use gluten free weetbix if needed.
- You can use any chocolate of your choice – salted caramel is one of my favourites to use!
- To make NUT FREE: Substitute the peanut butter for melted biscoff spread
- To make DAIRY FREE/VEGAN: Use a vegan sweetener (i.e maple syrup, agave syrup) and use a vegan chocolate.
- Instead of WEETBIX: You could use rice cakes or corn thins.
