These choc peanut butter protein balls are the perfect no bake snack! They’re great to prepare at the start of the week so you have a delicious pick me up ready to enjoy throughout the busy working week.
The combination of chocolate and peanut butter will always be a winner for me! These choc peanut butter protein balls are so easy to make, you only need 7 simple ingredients and they come together in no time at all.
Ingredients needed:
- oats
- pitted dates
- boiling water – to soak dates
- chocolate protein powder (I use True Protein)
- salt
- natural peanut butter
- dark chocolate chips
How to make choc peanut butter protein balls:
- Add dates to a bowl and cover with boiling water. Leave to sit for 15 minutes.
- In a food processor add the oats, soaked dates, date water, protein powder, salt, peanut butter and blend until combined. Roll into 14 balls.
- Add your dark chocolate to a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 90 seconds. Give it a mix and microwave in 15 second increments until it is completely melted.
- Dip the protein balls into the chocolate. Top with more sea salt and leave in the fridge for 30 minutes for the chocolate to set.
- Enjoy!
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 5-7 days.
