Sandwiches are currently really having their moment on socials and I’m here for it. Sandwiches have been my go-to lunch forever! They were always my lunch of choice throughout school and even now I’m always still going back to them. They are just so easy and versatile, the flavours combinations are endless!
This loaded turkey sandwich is absoulety delicious and packed with all my favourite foods. I’ve been eating it on repeat, it is just that delicious!
Ingredients needed:
Sourdough: Nothing beats a fresh loaf of bread from the bakery! I personally love to use sourdough but you can use any bread of your choice.
Basil pesto dip: Adds a burst of flavour and helps keep the sandwich ingredients together.
Avocado: Packed with healthy fats, it adds a rich and creamy texture.
Rocket: Adds a nice crunch. You could also do baby spinach!
Tomato: Juicy and sweet, tomatoes add some freshness and moisture to the sandwich.
Mozzerella: Its melt in your mouth consistency pairs perfectly with all the other ingredients, whilst adding some creaminess to the sandwich.
Turkey breast: The protein source for this sandwich. You could also use chicken or ham if prefered. For a meat free option use tofu.
Salt and pepper: To season

Loaded turkey sandwich
Ingredients
- 2 slices of sourdough or bread of your choice
- 1 tbsp basil pesto dip
- 1/2 a small avocado
- handful of rocket
- 3 slices of tomato
- 3 slices of mozzarella
- 40g turkey breast
- salt/pepper
Instructions
- To one slice of bread, spread on the basil pesto dip and to the other spread on the avocado. Layer on the rest of the ingredients and season with salt and pepper.
- Slice in half and enjoy!
