Chocolate crackles are a popular and nostalgic Australian no-bake treat! They have a crunchy texture and chocolatey flavour, traditionally made with cocoa powder, rice bubbles (aka rice puffs), desiccated coconut, copha and icing sugar.
This recipe is a fun take using peanut butter!
Ingredients needed:
- Chocolate chips
- Smooth natural peanut butter + extra to drizzle on top
- Coconut oil
- Rice puffs
How to make peanut butter chocolate crackles:
- In a saucepan over low heat add the chocolate, peanut butter and coconut oil. Stir continuously until melted then removed from the heat.
- Add in the rice puffs and mix until combined.
- Place mixture into muffin moulds and leave in the freezer for 1 hour to set.
- Once set, drizzle on some extra peanut butter and enjoy!
