These berry baked oats will be your new favourite winter breakfast! They are so incredibly tasty, if you’re yet to try baked oats this is your sign to make them!
Baked oats have that perfect cake like texture, it’s almost like eating dessert for breakfast! There are soooo many flavours you can make but these berry ones will always be a favourite for me.
Ingredients needed:
- oats
- baking powder
- protein powder – optional
- vanilla extract
- maple syrup
- almond milk
- egg
- banana
- mixed berries – fresh or frozen
How to make berry baked oats:
Preheat oven to 180°c (fan forced) and grease a mini baking dish – I use a mini pie dish
To a blender add oats, baking powder, protein powder, vanilla extract, maple syrup, almond milk, egg, banana and blend until smooth.
Add mixture to the baking dish, add the berries and gently mix through.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked
Add on some peanut butter (optional) and enjoy!
Ingredient substitutions:
- Instead of banana: you can substitute for applesauce
- Instead of maple syrup: you can use any sweetener of your choice
- Instead of almond milk: you can use any milk of your choice
- If you don’t want to use protein powder you can leave it out, just add less milk

- 1 heaped tbsp protein powder optional – see notes
- 1/2 a banana or substitute for 1/4 cup applesauce
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or sweetener of choice
- 1/3 cup almond milk or milk of choice
- 1/3 cup mixed berries fresh or frozen
