Ingredients needed:
- self raising flour
- baking powder
- egg
- vanilla extract
- maple syrup
- almond milk
- dark chocolate chips
How to make chocolate chip pancakes:
In a bowl mix together the egg, almond milk, vanilla extract and maple syrup. Add in the flour, baking powder and mix until combined. Fold in the dark choc chips.
Heat a non stick pan to medium. Once hot add in a few tablespoons worth of the mixture – I always use the first pancake as a tester because it never comes out pretty lol
Cook the pancakes for 3-4 minutes per side. You’ll know they are ready to flip when bubbles appear around the edges.
Add your favourite toppings and enjoy – this recipes makes about 6 pancakes!
