Ingredients needed
- tinned apple slices
- rolled oats
- plain flour
- True protein apple crumble protein powder*
- brown sugar, or coconut sugar
- baking powder
- cinnamon
- butter
*Ever since True Protein released their apple crumble protein powder I’ve been obsessed with adding it into my apple crumbles for some extra flavour! If you love apple crumble and make them regularly, it’s definitely worth getting it. If you don’t have it, simply just replace it with flour – you can even add in a bit more cinnamon or even some other spices to give it more flavour if you wanted to!
How to make Apple Crumble
- Grease a baking dish and add the apples
- In a bowl add the rolled oats, flour, protein powder, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and combine.
- Cut the butter into cubes and add to the dry ingredients. Use your hands to form a crumble then add on top of the apples
- Bake at 180°c for 30 minutes – or until golden.
- Serve with yoghurt or ice cream and enjoy!
