These healthier fudgy brownies are actually incredible and one of my favourite dessert recipes I’ve ever made!! I absolutely love brownies and these make for the perfect dessert. They’re so gooey, chocolatey and only require a few ingredients, I just know you’re going to love them!
The best thing about these brownies is they are egg free and easily made dairy free/vegan depending on the chocolate you use, perfect for those of you with dietary requirements!
These brownies come together in one bowl (meaning less washing up which is always a big win) and are ready in under 30 minutes. The perfect dessert if you ask me!
Ingredients needed:
- bananas
- natural peanut butter (I used homemade chocolate peanut butter)
- maple syrup
- almond milk
- self raising flour
- cacao powder
- dark chocolate chips
How to make Fudgy brownies:
Preheat oven to 180°c (fan forced) and line an 8×8 baking tray.
In a bowl combine mashed banana, peanut butter, maple syrup and almond milk. Add in the flour, cacao powder and mix until combined. Finally, fold in dark chocolate chips.
Transfer mixture to the lined tray and bake for 20 minutes or until cooked.
Let cool, slice up and enjoy!

- Instead of MAPLE SYRUP: You can use any liquid sweetener of your choice
- Instead of ALMOND MILK: You can use any milk of your choice
