A toasted bagel with halloumi, smashed avo, cherry tomatoes and a big drizzle of honey…can breakfast get any better?!?!?! This cafe style breakfast is so easy to make, I just know you’re going to love it!
Let’s be honest, breakfast foods are the best foods!!! Whenever I go out to a cafe whether it’s for breakfast or lunch I will always get some sort of avocado toast situation OR if there’s bagels on the menu, you best believe that’s what I’m ordering! This bagel combo is so incredibly delicious and gives you the vibes of a cafe style breakfast at home!
The Bagels I’ve been using recently are from the brand Jesses’s bakery, from the bakery section in Coles!
Ingredients needed:
- bagel
- avocado
- halloumi
- cherry tomatoes
- honey
- fresh herbs
- salt/pepper
How to make:
- PAN FRY HALLOUMI: Heat your pan to medium, slice the halloumi and add the the pan. Fry for 3 minutes per side or until golden brown.
- TOAST YOUR BAGEL
- PREPARE INGREDIENTS: Halve cherry tomatoes, finely slice fresh herbs and mash avocado in a small bowl
- ASSEMBLE: Once the bagel has toasted, add on the mashed avocado, halloumi, cherry tomatoes, herbs, salt/pepper and a good drizzle of honey.
- ENJOY!

The best thing about this meal is the quantities are so flexible!! You really can’t go wrong so feel free to do as much as you think will keep you satisfied!

- 4 slices of halloumi
- cherry tomatoes halved
- honey
