I’m yet to meet someone who doesn’t like hash browns…I mean how could you not?!?! You need these easy, delicious and crispy homemade hash browns in your life, I just know you’ll love them!
When I go out to eat at a cafe I always get avocado toast with a side of hash browns, they are just too good! This was my first time attempting to make them and they were surprisingly very easy to make. You only need a few simple ingredients I can almost guarantee you have at home already!
I love enjoying hash browns as a side or sometimes I use them instead of bread to make avocado toast. So next time you’re cooking up a delicious breakfast or brunch, be sure to make these incredibly tasty and crispy hash browns too!
Ingredients needed:
- potatoes
- egg
- minced garlic
- all purpose flour
- olive oil
- salt/pepper
- herbs/spices
How to make Homemade Hash Browns:
Grate potatoes then rinse and use a tea towel to squeeze out all excess water.
Add grated potato to a bowl with egg, garlic, flour, oil, salt, pepper, herbs, spices and mix until combined.
Drizzle some olive oil in a pan and heat to medium-high heat. Once the pan is hot, use the mixture to create 4 hash browns. Cook for 5 minutes per side or until golden.
Once cooked, serve hot and enjoy 🙂
I love serving mine with avo, poached eggs, fresh herbs and BBQ sauce!
