You won’t believe just how easy it is to make this homemade caramel! You only need 3 ingredients, it’s so simple to make and it’s also vegan!
Ingredients needed:
- canned coconut milk
- maple syrup
- pinch of salt
How to make homemade vegan caramel:
- Add the canned coconut milk, maple syrup and a pinch of salt to a saucepan over medium heat. Give it a mix and let simmer for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Remove from the heat, give it another mix and set it aside to cool/thicken.
Store in the fridge – it lasts about 4-5days.
