This easy and tasty healthier French toast recipe is the perfect thing to make for breakfast or brunch. The best thing is it’s made with ingredients you probably already have at home!
Ingredients to make Healthier French Toast
- Wholemeal bread
- Egg
- Maple syrup
- Cinnamon
- Almond milk
- Greek yoghurt
- Fresh or frozen berries
Method:
In a bowl mix together egg, maple syrup, cinnamon and almond milk. Coat the bread and add to a pan. Cook each side for about 3-4 minutes or until golden.
Add to a plate and top with Greek yoghurt, berries (if using frozen berries defrost them first) and a drizzle of maple syrup.
